A Little bit of skateboarding

So with the new cameras and with no real goal but to go and have some fun here is the result of the last 6 months, when it wasnt raining or snowing… too much. Skateboarding on the streets of Lowestoft and Norwich (except for Tylers Leiston trick, but it was just too good). Featuring Jubilee Ambassadors, Smash Riders and friends: Tommy May, Jack Woollard, Tyler Ayers, Ash Lever, Glen Cone, Luke Graves, Sean Airey, Gorm and Crab. A big thanks to number 2 cameraman Ben Slaymaker, Mr long lens himself. Just remember, it’s all about goin out skatin with your mates and havin some fun, no pressure.

I want to personally thank George for all the hard work thats gone into this edit, giving up Sundays to film when he could of been skating and all of his free time thats gone into editing, cheers buddy, your a legend.

Our collaborations extend further to a Ltd edition board available from smashskates, support your local they support you!!!

UNITED WE STAND AND DIVIDED WE FALL.

Jubilee down under!

Yo, the jubilee boys have asked me to up date the blog so i can show what is going down here in melbourne! the spots are amazing here in the city, most things are knobbed, but further out of the city i went to a place called Richmond on Friday. It was 43 degrees and it was too hot to skate so i thought i’d go for a little lurk around for some spots and found three ledges in a row, then walked for a while for about ten minutes then found these perfect blocks in some flower beds, so sick then outside the Richmond Plaza was an amazing ledge… like the theatre ledge in bcn! So much potential here. I wish the homies were around to chill, sip some suds and lay some shit down! Doonar would be so stoked as there is Macba floor everywhere. But i’m keeping it real, keeping British by living on beans on toast with eggs (i’ve eaten this religiously for the past two weeks). I am just as broke as usual but its ok, i’d rather be broke here than sunny old Lowe! But things are looking up down here! Anyways i’m out, ill be in touch with the Jubilee family pretty soon. Keep focused, live life how you want to, don’t look down, always look up, don’t make plans just go with instinct, take life as it comes and one day it will work for you! Peace love to you all back in the UK and keep repping your local companies/shops and homies. Just one more thing to say… rest in peace Lewis Marnell, you are a fucking legend in the skateboarding world especially here at your local park in Phraan you will be missed by everyone in the world that you have met along the way in your very own way, much love!

Introducing our latest recruit

Introducing Jack Woolard.

We met Jack and his buddy Sean last year while skating the Woodbridge park. Jack was seriously killing the park, putting most of the tricks down you’ll see in this edit with an impressive amount of ease. We immediately arranged a night we could get down to get some clips, which by the time we had finished work, driven down and set up, we only got an hour before the lights shut down at 9 oclock and stopped play, although it really didn’t matter as jack had got it all done.

Since we shot this we are pleased to announce that Jack has agreed to join the cause and has been out filming some street footage for his full Jubilee edit which will drop this coming winter. Which is sure keep me motivated throught the winter months.

Thanks to Jack for the mad skilz, Sean for the frontside flip appearance and Ben Allen for filming. Keep rolling, keep celebrating. Boom!

Chingon! Mexico

I took a trip to Mexico last year and it was of the hook I flew into Guadalajara but didn’t get any skating in before we drove down to the Pacific coast to surf, kinda gutted I didn’t skate after seeing this.

Damn Son!

We went for a little roll at our local Park last night and had a chance to catch up with Grindley which was cool, he’s a real nice guy and is proper hammers.  We managed to get a couple of seriously heavy clips of him. Excuse the Iphone clip footage but our resident filmer had a prior engagement.
