So things have been a little quiet this end for the past month. Unfortuneately day jobs sometimes get in the way of fun. But we can be grateful that Jubilee now has some great guys involved that have been out making things happen. Ben and Luke have continued to push Lukes AMBASSADOR part to the limit, finding the rarest of street spots in Lowe and Norwich and making something happen, Ben rocked up at mine with 4 tapes the other day (it was only a couple of days worth of filming). Luke has had an extensive entourage with him, including photographers Jack Birch and Patrick Matthews who have been great at documenting the process. With the filming now done and a week off for me you can expect the edit at the end of next week, I cant wait for you guys to see this one. We are working on some new designs for a couple of tees and a baseball tee. We are going to do Jubilee Compass Design as a tee in a new colour way aswell. Thanks to those of you that bought zip hoodies, we under ordered on mediums but we still have a couple of […]
When “The Cone” landed this first try it seemed only right to offer him a Prime Cut. It seems that every Prime Cut we do is at Yarmouth but give us a couple more weeks and the clocks change and then we will be able to get outside in the evenings. It has to be said that it’s awesome to have somewhere to skate for the Winter months, we would be pretty screwed without it.
Introducing the newest recruit – James Richmond. We are always on the lookout for rad local skaters to support and feature in edits and over the Winter months we were seriously impressed by James tearing up Yarmouth Park while it rained outside. So last week the Cone got Ben to point the VX at him and see what happened… we were not disappointed. This in turn has led to the Prime Cut you see below and him agreeing to become the latest Jubilee Ambassador. It’s great to have you on board mate (no pun intended). Expect an edit from him in the near future.
We’ve been really busy keeping on top of all the different edits and had neglected to add some faces to the ambassador page, SORRY… so we’ve put a new row in, a massive thanks to Doonar, Chris Allcock, Danny Coston and Ashley Challis and everyone else that’s supporting the Jubilee family. If your face aint up there and you knows it should be it’s probably cause your mug shots on facebook aint too hot, send your images to firstname.lastname@example.org
So the websites been up and running since September and we’ve had some good feedback (thanks to those who have given it) and have managed to put out a good few edits out (cheers Mr Allen and the skaters involved in those). This has meant that the media page needed a refresh to best display that content, so George has been busy beavering away with the code and has come up with the resulting update, go check it out. Keep an eye out for new edits on the way coming from Ashley Challis and Luke Graves. We hope you like it thanks Glen and George.
The back end of last week gave way to a couple of glorious winter days, so we sent out the ever fruitful Mr Allen with Lowestoft local Ashley Challis to see just what this kids got in his Arsenal of tricks. Mr Allen is on such a hype ting that him and Challis are going out again this week to finish the footage for the edit. In the meantime check the teaser here.
